A unique holiday cottage in the heart of Snowdonia
Welcome to Rhyd Yr Eirin
Situated in the hills above Harlech, in an idyllic and secluded location, Rhyd Yr Eirin is a lovingly restored 17th century farmhouse, which has been in our family for over 60 years. With spectacular views of sea and mountains, it’s a delightful place for both adults and children, and many of our guests return regularly.
“One of the top 14 away-from-it-all, off-the-beaten-track, holiday cottages in the British Isles”
The Sunday Times

The cottage is wonderfully atmospheric and is traditionally furnished, with a modern kitchen and bathroom.
The beautiful oak-beamed sitting room has a sofa and armchairs arranged around an inglenook, with a cosy wood burning stove.
The cottage is in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. The area is full of wildlife, and there are many fine walks from the house.
The garden has a sandpit, see-saw and play-house for children.

Harlech is three miles away, with its magnificent castle and superb four mile long beach, ideal for picnics in the dunes, jogging, swimming, kites and walks.
In easy reach within the Snowdonia National Park there is a wide choice of activities, including hill walking, cycling, mountain climbing and biking, golf, sailing, canoeing and white-water rafting.
Also nearby is the Ffestiniog mountain railway, and Portmeirion.
“The most peaceful holiday cottage we have ever stayed in”
Rhyd Yr Eirin sleeps 7-8 (in two double bedrooms and a family room with a king size bed and two singles). Sheep-friendly dog by arrangement only. Winter/summer duvets are provided, but not bed linen or towels.
